🖊 Inktober Artist Tag – Day #27
Welcome to Day 27 of my Inktober challenge! Each day, I’m drawing a different prompt with a simple Catholic twist. Today’s theme is “Onion”, and I chose to reflect on Our Lady of Sorrows.
Today’s Drawing Prompt: “Onion”

As you know, some people shed tears when cutting onions. I don’t even have to be in the same room as someone cutting an onion and my eyes water! You can see why I picked Our Lady of Sorrows for the topic, onion.
The Seven Sorrows Devotion
|
The Blessed Virgin Mary grants seven graces to the souls who honor her daily by saying seven Hail Mary's and meditating on her tears and dolors (sorrows). The devotion was passed on by St. Bridget. SEVEN SORROWS |

- The flight into Egypt. (St. Matthew 2:13–14)
- The loss of the Child Jesus in the temple. (St. Luke 2:43–45)
- The meeting of Jesus and Mary on the Way of the Cross.
- The Crucifixion.
- The taking down of the Body of Jesus from the Cross.
